Tour Atv Maras & Moray - Machu Picchu - Wayna Picchu

Our ATV tour to Maras, Moray + Machu Picchu and Waynapicchu is a program designed for adventure and adrenaline lovers. It's 2 days filled with fun, during which we will visit the wonder of the Inca city of Machu Picchu and also the Wayna Picchu (Huayna Picchu) mountain.

The adventure begins in Cusco, where we will pick you up from the hotel to embark on a car journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. There, we will enjoy the ATV circuit in both Maras and Moray. After this exciting activity, we will head to Ollantaytambo, where we will board the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town).

The next morning, we will ascend early to the Machu Picchu citadel to explore the Inca city and the Huayna Picchu mountain. In the afternoon, we return to Ollantaytambo by train and then in our tourist transport to Cusco.

• Exercise caution and care when climbing Huayna Picchu; there are many steps to climb with narrow paths and precipices. The hike becomes safe if you follow the recommendations and the guide's instructions.
• Visit the thermal baths in Aguas Calientes.
• Regarding your luggage, you can take up to 7 kilograms on the train.

IMPORTANT: The entrance to Wayna Picchu Mountain is open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. You should know that the number of entries to this mountain is limited, with only 400 entries allowed per day, so you must purchase your tickets well in advance. In case the entry to Wayna Picchu Mountain is sold out, you can book the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu Mountain 2-day Tour.

DAY 1: CUSCO - ATV - AGUAS CALIENTES

We commence our tour of ATV in the Sacred Valley + Machu Picchu and Wayna Picchu, where we will pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 AM for a pre-tour briefing. Then, we will head to where our vehicles are located. We'll begin with a brief practice session before continuing to the Moray archaeological site and also visiting the famous salt mines of Maras. During this journey, you will have the opportunity to admire Incan engineering, including their agricultural techniques and irrigation systems through aqueducts.

 You will have 25 minutes at each site to explore Moray and Salineras. After our adventure, we will proceed to Urubamba for a buffet lunch at one of the prominent local restaurants. Following that, we will transfer to Ollantaytambo, from where we will board the train to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night.

DAY 2: MACHU PICCHU – WAYNAPICCHU - CUSCO

Very early, we will transfer to the bus station to ascend to the Machu Picchu Archaeological Sanctuary. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes, and you will finally arrive at Machu Picchu, where you can recharge your energy. Here, you will learn about the history, chronicles, and the essence of the lost city of the Incas. In the company of our guide, we will explore the agricultural and urban areas, including plazas, temples, roads, staircases, terraces, aqueducts, etc.

After the guided tour of Machu Picchu, we will ascend to the Waynapicchu Mountain (Huayna Picchu), a mountain near Machu Picchu that stands at 2,667.58 meters above sea level. The journey to the top of the mountain takes about one and a half hours. In this adventure, our professional guide will accompany you. It is a steep and adrenaline-pumping ascent, particularly in its final stretch, but the effort is worthwhile because at the top, you will have the opportunity to admire incredible views of the city of Machu Picchu and take the best photos.

After exploring Huayna Picchu, we will descend to the entrance gate and then take the return bus to Aguas Calientes. You will have time for lunch and a final visit to the town. In the afternoon, we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where we will pick you up from the station and transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.
