The white city of Arequipa is one of the most important cities in Peru, famous for being located at the foot of a volcano called Misti, so you can also get to know the "Colca Canyon" one of the deepest in the world located at 3500 meters above sea level; in this place you can appreciate the flight of the Condors, emblematic birds in the Andes that are in danger of extinction.
Finally, you will visit Cusco and Machu Picchu, where you will get to know the magnificent works that the Inca culture left behind, one of the most important civilizations in the history of humanity. Here is a summary of the itinerary:

Night in Arequipa.
We leave very early and head to the Colca Valley. The next day we will see the flight of the condors and admire the towns that are part of the Colca Canyon.
We will tour the magical city of Cusco and the Inca sites around the city, beginning with the Cathedral, Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Puka - Pukara and finally Tambomachay.
Overnight in Cusco.
Early in the morning we will visit the Sacred Valley. We start with Pisac, then travel to Urubamba for lunch and then visit Ollantaytambo, where we board the train to reach the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town). There we will rest so that the next day very early we can visit the citadel of Machu Picchu.
Night in Aguas Calientes.
Very early we take the bus that will take us to the citadel of Machu Picchu; we will be able to appreciate the sunrise in the beautiful Inca city. At the top of the mountains you will learn about its history and architecture and above all you will feel that impressive energy that only Machu Picchu gives you. In the afternoon we will board the return train to the Ollantaytambo station, where a member of our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you in our bus to your hotel in Cusco.

In the morning, you'll take a flight from Lima to Arequipa. Upon arrival at Arequipa Airport, we'll pick you up and transfer you to your hotel for some rest. In the afternoon, at 2:30 p.m., we'll pick you up from your hotel to start the City Tour in Arequipa. You'll explore the famous Santa Catalina Monastery, stroll through the Plaza de Armas and visit its Cathedral, La Plazoleta de San Francisco, Fundo el Fierro, the main colonial houses, and the cloisters of La Compañía de Jesús. The tour will conclude at the Yanahuara Viewpoint around 6:00 p.m.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Arequipeños take pride in their land and customs, considering themselves an independent nation. Ask your guide about their customs and delicious cuisine, particularly shrimp chupe and queso helado for dessert. Use sunscreen; it's warm during the day, but it can get chilly at night.
After breakfast at the hotel, at 8:30 a.m., we'll board our bus towards the northern route. Along the way, you'll admire the Chachani Volcano. We'll reach Pampa Cañahuas in the National Reserve of Vicuñas. During the journey, you'll also see the Chucura snow-capped mountain, the Toqra and Patapampa lagoons, and reach the Andes Lookout, offering views of Ampato, Hualca-Hualca, and the Andes Mountain Range. Around noon, we'll arrive in Chivay, where you'll spend the night at Hotel Eco Inn. In the afternoon, there will be a one-hour walk in the Chivay vicinity, followed by a relaxing visit to the Calera thermal baths. In the evening, you'll enjoy traditional Peruvian dances at a local restaurant. Overnight at a hotel in Chivay.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
We'll take precautions for altitude sickness in Colca, including coca tea, oxygen, and altitude sickness pills. Don't forget to take photos with llamas and alpacas, wear suitable clothing for the thermal baths, use sunscreen, and dress warmly because it gets cold at night in Colca.
Early at 6:00 a.m., we'll have breakfast at the hotel and head to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint to witness the spectacular flight of condors. We'll also observe the Colca Canyon, known for its impressive depth. The journey lasts approximately 2 hours, and upon returning, we'll take a one-hour walk from Cruz del Cóndor to Cruz del Cura. We'll then visit the traditional villages of Pinchollo, Yanque, and Maca, where you'll see Lito maquetas, Hanging Tombs, amphitheaters, churches, and terraces. Afterward, we'll return to Chivay for lunch and then embark on the return trip to the city of Arequipa. We'll arrive around 5:00 p.m., and at 7:30 p.m., we'll transfer you to the bus terminal for your journey to the beautiful City of Cusco.

We'll pick you up at the Cusco bus terminal for your welcome and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, we'll pick you up from the hotel to start our city tour, beginning with Cusco Cathedral. It houses invaluable artistic treasures and is often considered the most beautiful in South America. Next, we'll visit the Qorikancha Temple, a sacred Inca temple that housed Inca priests dedicated to worshiping the sun god.
Our guided tour will continue to the archaeological sites around the city, starting with Sacsayhuaman, an impressive construction made of enormous stone blocks. After the tour, we recommend taking a stroll around Plaza de Armas and its surroundings, where you can admire the work of Cusco artisans in the craft shops. If you enjoy nightlife, you'll find many discos and bars filled with tourists and locals looking to have fun.
Full-day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Breakfast at the hotel. At 8:00 a.m., we'll pick you up from your hotel and start by visiting the archaeological site of Pisac, located 45 minutes from Cusco by private transportation. Pisac will give you an idea of the advanced architectural knowledge achieved by the Incas. Another reason to visit Pisac is its artisan market, where you can find unique and authentic souvenirs.
Around noon, we'll head to the town of Urubamba, where you'll enjoy lunch and savor delicious Peruvian cuisine. In the afternoon, we'll visit the Ollantaytambo Fortress with its magnificent terraces and temples. At the top of the fortress, after climbing many stairs, you'll see six huge pink-colored stone blocks, each weighing around 50 tons.

It's best to visit the Pisac market on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, as more artisans from other communities come to the market on these days. Don't forget to try the empanaditas and buy some artisanal souvenirs. In Urubamba, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch, including the famous Maíz del Valle Sagrado (Sacred Valley Corn).
