We will greet you at the airport and take you to your hotel in Cusco. In the afternoon, at 01:30 p.m., we will pick you up from your hotel to start our City Tour of the city. We'll begin with a visit to the Cusco Cathedral, which houses invaluable artistic treasures hidden within its walls. These treasures hold elements of indigenous thought that, combined with its beautiful architecture, make it considered by many as the most beautiful in America. Next, we will visit the Qorikancha or Temple of the Sun. According to the chronicles, entering this sanctuary required fasting and barefoot, as it was considered an indigenous sanctuary dedicated to the deities of the Sun God, the Moon, the Stars, the Rainbow, Thunder, and Lightning. Here, you will appreciate the exquisite stonework crafted by the Incas, which remains stable to this day despite earthquakes.
After the visit to Qoricancha, we will board a vehicle that will take us to Sacsayhuaman, located 3 km from the city of Cusco. The Sacsayhuaman esplanade offers a panoramic view of the city of Cusco. Sacsayhuaman was constructed using large limestone blocks weighing from 25 to 130 tons. Comprising three terraces superimposed in a zigzag pattern, this site was used for gatherings and various festivities, such as WARACHIKUY and INTI RAYMI.
Next, we will visit Qenqo, which means "labyrinth" in Quechua. It is located one kilometer from Sacsayhuaman and features limestone rock constructions spanning 500 meters. Historians believe it served for astronomical, religious, and embalming purposes. Our next stop is Puka Pukara, which translates to "red fortress" in Quechua. It was a strategic site for controlling access to and from the Imperial City of Cusco, used as a territorial boundary to divide regions and establish travel regulations.
As the last point of this tour, we will visit Tambomachay, a resting place located 9 km from the city of Cusco, also known as the "Inca Baths" due to its constant-flowing waters, often referred to as the "waters of eternal youth." Finally, we will conclude our City Tour around 6:30 p.m. by taking you back to your respective hotel in Cusco.

On this day, you will embark on a complete tour of the impressive Sacred Valley of the Incas. After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up at 07:00 a.m. and head to the mountains to reach the Archaeological Center of Pisac, which is located approximately 1 hour from Cusco. Here, you will witness the advanced knowledge the Incas possessed in constructing their incredible structures. The Pisac ruins consist of a system of terraces, domestic structures, ceremonial buildings, and aqueducts that provided water for agricultural exploitation. Afterward, we will visit the vibrant Pisac craft market, where you can find a variety of handicrafts for sale. At noon, we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a tourist restaurant in the Urubamba Valley, known for producing the world's best corn and abundant fruits during the rainy season, such as peaches, capuli, quince, and high-quality strawberries, among others.
We will then visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo, which served as a military, agricultural, and religious center for controlling the Sacred Valley. This archaeological site comprises a series of superimposed terraces, showcasing impressive and large finely carved stone blocks. The town of Ollantaytambo is recognized as the "Best Tourist Town in the World" due to its preservation of the original Inca Colonial urban layout, featuring extensive use of hydraulic engineering with water channels running through its streets.
Returning to the city of Cusco, we will visit Chinchero, located to the northwest of Cusco. During the Tahuantinsuyo era, Inca Túpac Yupanqui planned the construction of palaces for the elite. Today, you can observe the remains of the palace upon which the colonial church stands. Chinchero is known for keeping ancient traditions alive in agriculture, particularly in cultivating a wide variety of Andean potatoes and practicing weaving with Inca iconography and symbolism.
