We will descend from the Andes to the jungle of Cusco by bicycle. On the way we will be able to observe a variety of fruit trees and coffee plantations. We will finish in the city of Quillabamba.
We will climb a mountain near the city of Quillabamba, where we will begin our bike tour to the town of Santa Teresa. We will finish in the thermal baths of Cocalmayo.
The vehicle will take you to the hydroelectric power plant, the starting point of our hike. We will follow the railway line walking until we reach the town of Aguas Calientes. On the way we will visit the Mandor waterfalls.
Finally we will visit Machu Picchu, our guide will accompany you for a walk of approximately 2 hours. We will have lunch in Aguas Calientes and then return by train to Ollantaytambo station where our transportation will be waiting for you to take you back to Cusco.

We will start our tour by picking you up from your hotel at 5:00 a.m. and then, we will go to the town of Ollantaytambo, crossing the Sacred Valley of the Incas by car. In Ollantaytambo we will have breakfast for 45 minutes and then, we will continue our way to the Yanamayo pass. We will pass through the communities of Patacancha and Willoq, where you will be able to observe the people with their typical dress of the area. Arriving at the Yanamayo pass, we will get ready for the descent, we will put on our protective equipment and the guide will give us a safety talk before using our bicycles. We’re going to descend through a road that starts in the Andes of Cusco and ends in the jungle. On the way we will find beautiful waterfalls, fruit trees, coca and coffee plantations. We will stop at some points to get a closer look at the coffee plantations. You will be able to feel the change in temperature as you descend. In the community of Ocobamabawe will have lunch and rest the body, we will continue our way by car until we arrive to a small town called Quillabamba. Here we will have dinner and spend the night.
On day 2, we will start at 9 am climbing a mountain near Quillabamba, we will drive about 45 minutes to the top. Once we are at the starting point we will put on our protective gear and check our bikes. We will descend down the mountain among fruit crops such as banana, cocoa, papaya, mango and coffee. At certain points we will stop and taste some of these fruits and of course a good cup of coffee. We will continue cycling, the temperature will be from 23 C° to 30 C° depending on the season. We will arrive at the village of Santateresawhere lunch will be waiting for us. In the late afternoon, we will go to the thermal baths of Cocalmayo where we will be able to relax in its warm waters. Overnight in the village of Santa Teresa.
In the morning, after breakfast we will go by car to the hydroelectric plant, where we will start our hike to Aguas Calientes. This road is not steep at all, on the contrary, it has no ups and downs, which makes your hike easier. It is next to the railway line between a jungle forest and the Vilcanota River. We will walk for about 2 hours, if we are lucky we will be able to see wildlife activity such as the famous Cock of the Rock. We will pass by a point where we will find some waterfalls inside the forest, we will have the opportunity to visit them and capture our experience with pictures and videos. Finally we will arrive to the town of Aguas Calientes and you will be transferred to your hotel. You will have the afternoon free.
The last day of our journey we will visit Machu Picchu, our guide will pick you up from your hotel and we will go to the bus station in Aguas Calientes. We will board the bus and we will have a trip of 45 minutes approximately to the historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu. We will enter the complex and our guide will take you on a tour of the citadel telling you about the history and culture of the Incas. We will have the opportunity to take pictures at various points, the visit will last approximately 2 hours. After our visit, we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we will have lunch. After lunch we will board the train and return to Cusco, culminating our trip.
