LIMA - CITY AND SURROUNDINGS

The service includes assistance and transfer from the "Jorge Chávez" International Airport to the selected hotel. In the afternoon, at 2:00 p.m., the client is picked up to start a City Tour of approximately 2.5 hours. The tour begins with a panoramic view of the "Huaca Pucllana", an ancient Inca ceremonial center.

The Historic Center of Lima is explored, highlighting more than fifty colonial monuments and historical sites. The visit continues to the San Francisco Monumental Complex, which exhibits the largest collection of colonial religious art in America, including its underground crypts known as the "Catacombs". Finally, contemporary Lima is explored with a stroll through traditional residential areas, such as El Olivar de San Isidro, Miraflores, and Larcomar.

CITY TOUR CUSCO

In the afternoon, around 1:00 p.m., we will pick you up from the hotel and begin our tour of Cusco. With our guide, you will get to know the most important monuments of the city, starting with the Cusco Cathedral. Then, we will visit the Qorikancha or Temple of the Sun.

We will continue our guided tour to the archaeological centers located around the city of Cusco; starting with Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. Our tour ends near the Plaza de Armas in Cusco, approximately at 6:00 p.m.

INCA TRAIL – WAYLLABAMBA

The exhilarating Inca Trail begins at 5:30 a.m., with the team picking up adventurers for a bus journey to Piskakucho. Along the picturesque route, charming villages such as Chinchero, Urubamba, and Ollantaytambo are traversed. After passing the checkpoints, the hike starts, exploring small archaeological sites until reaching Patallacta, an important city in the Inca era. We then continue to Miskay for lunch and a brief rest. The day concludes at the first campsite, Wayllabamba, with afternoon tea, popcorn, and cookies before dinner.

Day 06

WAYLLABAMBA – WARMIWAÑUSKA – PACAYMAYO

After breakfast, our hike continues towards Pacaymayo, facing the first three hours of challenging ascent until reaching Warmiwañuska, known as "Dead Woman's Pass". This point offers the feeling of reaching the highest altitude, providing panoramic views of the landscape. After a short break, we descend to Pacaymayo for lunch and to set up our tents. We enjoy afternoon tea before a delicious dinner, spending the night camping in Pacaymayo.

Day 07

PACAYMAYO – PUYUPATAMARCA – WIÑAYHUAYNA

After breakfast, we continue the hike ascending to the second pass, "Abra de Runcurakay" (3970 meters above sea level), visiting its archaeological site. Then, we reach Sayacmarca for lunch, appreciating its structural importance. The journey continues through a dry and mountainous geography, crossing solid rock tunnels towards the city among the clouds, "Puyupatamarca". We proceed to Wiñayhuayna, descending to 2700 meters above sea level, where we find Inca terraces, religious and urban sectors. We enjoy tea before dinner, spending the night camping at Wiñayhuayna.

Day 08

WIÑAYHUAYNA – GREAT DAY IN MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

The long-awaited day has arrived. At 4:00 a.m., after breakfast or with a box lunch in hand, we begin the journey towards Machu Picchu. The day starts with a short walk to Intipunku, the Sun Gate, where we witness the sunrise and behold the majesty of Machu Picchu. We descend to the Inca citadel for a guided tour filled with information and history.

Subsequently, there is free time to explore Machu Picchu, rest, and capture photos from all angles. The return train schedule to Cusco will be informed, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy the journey back to the Ollantaytambo station. Upon arrival, our staff will be ready to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 09

CUSCO WALKING TOUR

Experience up close the streets and customs of Cusco with our guide. At 9 a.m., we'll pick you up from your hotel to head to the viewpoint of the White Christ, enjoying a unique view of the city. Descending, we will explore picturesque streets, visit places like the San Blas neighborhood, the San Cristóbal viewpoint, and the famous 12-angled stone. We will also visit the local San Pedro market, where you can try local products. We will conclude in the Plaza de Armas of Cusco.

Day 10

CUSCO MOUNTAIN OF COLORS

The tour begins early, around 4 in the morning, with a 3-hour journey to the community of Pitumarca, where breakfast is served. Then we head to Kayrawiri, from where the guide gives us recommendations before starting the hike to the mountain, approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to Vinicunca.

We spend around an hour admiring the stunning landscape of the RAINBOW MOUNTAIN and then return to the starting point to enjoy a buffet lunch. Afterwards, we explore the local customs and have the option to enjoy the thermal baths. In the evening, at 19:00 hours, we will contemplate the starry sky. Day 11

PACCHANTA – AUSANGATE 7 LAGOONS - CUSCO

We start the day early with a breakfast in the family house, followed by a hike of about 4 hours, with ascents and descents, reaching an altitude of about 5,000 meters above sea level. We will enjoy panoramic views of the lagoons and explore the area of the 7 lagoons, visiting each of them.

During the journey, we will observe the Andean flora and fauna, considering the varied elevations of the terrain. Upon conclusion, we will return along the same path until we reach Pacchanta again. We will have free time to enjoy lunch and then we will embark on a return journey of approximately 4 hours, arriving in the city of Cusco at night.

Itinerary Vacation in Peru in 12 days

DAY 1: LIMA - CITY AND SURROUNDINGS

Assistance upon your arrival at Lima's "Jorge Chavez" International Airport and subsequent transfer to the selected hotel. In the afternoon (02:00 p.m.), we pick you up from your hotel to start the City tour, which will last approximately 2 and a half hours. We begin our tour with a panoramic view of the "Huaca Pucllana," a magnificent ceremonial and archaeological center built in the 4th century A.D. and considered a "Sacred Town" by the Incas.

We visit the Historic Center of Lima, where you will appreciate more than fifty colonial monuments and buildings, highlighting the Paseo de la República, Plaza San Martín, Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, the Municipal Palace, among others. DAY 3: BICYCLE TOUR IN MARAS - MORAY - SALINERAS - SKY LODGE

Our adventure begins early in the morning. From your hotel, we head to the town of Chinchero, our starting point. We will start our cycling tour through cultivation fields and Andean communities until we reach the viewpoint of the beautiful Huaypo lagoon. From here, we continue towards the Misminay community, where we will have a privileged view of the Moray Archaeological Complex, also known as the Inca agricultural laboratory. Here, we will enjoy the beauty of the place, both natural and archaeological.

Continuing along the route, we can take advantage of the different ascents and descents that will take us to the emblematic town of Maras, where a gentle descent continues to the famous Maras Salt Ponds, and then we descend to the Sacred Valley, concluding our Maras Moray bike tour full of nature, culture, and adventure.

Duration: 6:00 hrs approx. - Recommended departure time: 8:00 am - Difficulty: Easy - Moderate - Distance: 30 km approx. In the afternoon, we will arrive in the Pachar area in the Sacred Valley at the SKY LODGE ADVENTURE SUITES, unique in the world, the first hanging camp Lodge.

During the trip, we will pass through the towns of Chinchero, Urubamba, and Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, we will pass the control points. At the beginning, we will pass by small archaeological sites until we reach Patallacta, a city of great importance in Inca times. We continue the trek to Miskay, the place of the delicious lunch and a short break. We resume our walk to reach the first camp, Wayllabamba. After a short break, we resume our trek to descend to Pacaymayo for lunch, where everything will be ready to set up our tents. Afternoon tea before the delightful dinner.

DAY 7: PACAYMAYO - PUYUPATAMARCA - WIÑAYHUAYNA

After breakfast, we continue our trek and begin to ascend to the second pass known as "Abra de Runcurakay" (3970 meters above sea level), where we will visit the archaeological site of great importance. After a short tour, we reach Sayacmarca, important for its structure and lunch location. After a refreshing lunch, we continue observing the vegetation and geography of the area, becoming dry and mountainous. We will pass through solid rock tunnels along the way to reach the city in the clouds, "Puyupatamarca," a place with a lot of mist. We continue our journey to Wiñayhuayna, where we descend to 2700 meters above sea level, featuring Inca terraces known as andenes, religious, and urban sectors. Afternoon tea before dinner.

DAY 8: WIÑAYHUAYNA - GREAT DAY IN MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO

Because every effort has its reward, the big day has come. At 4:00 am, after breakfast or with a boxed lunch for the journey, we begin our journey to Machu Picchu. We start with a short walk to reach Intipunku and witness the sunrise (Sun Gate). From this point, you can see Machu Picchu in all its splendor. Then, we start descending to the Inca citadel. In Machu Picchu, we will have a guided tour of the entire citadel, providing a lot of information and history. Afterward, there will be free time to explore Machu Picchu, relax, take more photos, and capture selfies from all angles. The return train schedule to Cusco will be informed by our guides, so don't worry and just enjoy. Return journey by train to the Ollantaytambo station, where our staff will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco.

DAY 9: WALKING TOUR IN CUSCO

Get up close to the streets and customs of Cusco; our guide will take you to the strategic points of the city. In the morning, at 9 am, we will pick you up from the hotel in Cusco and take you to the iconic viewpoint of Cristo Blanco to enjoy one of the best views of the city. Then, we will descend and take a walk through the streets of the city, discovering many incredible places and alleys with curious names, each with a picturesque history. We will visit the traditional San Blas neighborhood, the San Cristóbal viewpoint, and also have the requested photo at the 12-angle stone.

Of course, we will visit the local San Pedro market, where our guide will explain about local products, and if you wish, you can try some products and fruits from our valleys. Finally, we will end up in the iconic Plaza de Armas in Cusco.

DAY 11: PACHANTA - AUSANGATE 7 LAGOONS - CUSCO

We wake up early to enjoy breakfast at the family home. We will start our hike, which will last approximately 4 hours uphill and downhill. We will reach approximately 5,000 meters above sea level and enjoy views of the lagoons and explore the entire 7 lagoons area, visiting the following lagoons: During the visit to the lagoons, you will also see some flora and fauna of the Andes. Please consider that the hike includes uphill, downhill, and flat areas. At the end, we return along the same path until we reach Pacchanta again. Free time to enjoy our lunch. We return on a 4-hour journey, and approximately at night, we will arrive in the city of Cusco.
