The Pallay Punchu Tour allows visitors to explore Pallay Punchu Mountain, located in the southern region of Cusco, in the Andean area of Peru. The Pallay Punchu tour begins with passenger pick-up between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., depending on the location of your hotel. We will travel by bus to the community of Cusipata on a journey of approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival in Cusipata, we will enjoy a nutritious breakfast before continuing by bus to Marangani, the starting point of the hike.

Before beginning the hike, the local guide will provide final instructions and recommendations so that altitude does not become a major obstacle during the journey. The hike to the summit of Pallay Punchu Mountain takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes. At the top, there will be sufficient time to rest, rehydrate, and take photos while enjoying the impressive views of the colorful valleys. Before descending, the guide will give a brief explanation about the minerals found in the valley and Pallay Punchu Mountain that are responsible for the diverse and distinctive coloration of the terrain.

Once we return to the starting point of the hike, after taking in the remarkable views from Pallay Punchu Mountain, we will regroup and head back to Cusipata to use the facilities and rest. There, we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before gathering our belongings and returning by bus to the city of Cusco, where the Pallay Punchu tour will conclude.
