The Pallay Punchu Tour allows visitors to explore Pallay Punchu Mountain, located in the southern region of Cusco, in the Andean area of Peru. This destination is known for its natural color formations and the surrounding landscape, where mountains, valleys, and the characteristic tones of the high-Andean terrain come together.
During the visit, travelers will be able to observe the variety of colors present on the mountain and in its surroundings, resulting from the mineral composition of the soil, with shades ranging from reddish and ochre tones to other characteristic hues of the area. This tour is intended for those who wish to enjoy a hike and visit an alternative to other more crowded colorful mountains.

The hike to Pallay Punchu begins with the pick-up of the entire group at approximately 5:00 a.m., followed by travel to the community of Cusipata, where a nutritious breakfast will be provided. Afterward, we will continue by bus to Marangani, the starting point of the hike. Upon arrival, the local guide will give instructions before beginning the hike to the summit of Pallay Punchu Mountain, which takes approximately 40 minutes. At the top, there will be sufficient time to rest, rehydrate, and take photos with the colorful valley in the background.
After enjoying the views from the summit of Pallay Punchu Mountain, we will return to the starting point of the hike and then travel back to Cusipata, where there will be time to rest, freshen up, and enjoy a local lunch. After lunch and a short break, we will return to the city of Cusco, where the Pallay Punchu Mountain tour will conclude.

The Pallay Punchu tour begins with passenger pick-up between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., depending on the location of your hotel. We will travel by bus to the community of Cusipata on a journey of approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival in Cusipata, we will enjoy a nutritious breakfast before continuing by bus to Marangani, the starting point of the hike.
Before beginning the hike, the local guide will provide final instructions and recommendations so that altitude does not become a major obstacle during the journey. The hike to the summit of Pallay Punchu Mountain takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes. At the top, there will be sufficient time to rest, rehydrate, and take photos while enjoying the impressive views of the colorful valleys. Before descending, the guide will give a brief explanation about the minerals found in the valley and Pallay Punchu Mountain that are responsible for the diverse and distinctive coloration of the terrain.
Once we return to the starting point of the hike, after taking in the remarkable views from Pallay Punchu Mountain, we will regroup and head back to Cusipata to use the facilities and rest. There, we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before gathering our belongings and returning by bus to the city of Cusco, where the Pallay Punchu tour will conclude.
