Day 1
Pickup and transfer to Tinki

Day 2

Descent to Yanacocha and camp
The trail descends to Yanacocha also known as Black Lagoon. Chinchillas vizcachas deer vicuñas and condors may be present in this area but sightings depend on conditions and cannot be guaranteed.
Lunch is served near the camp at Hatun Puca Cocha. If weather and visibility allow the evening program includes a short explanation of the constellations before dinner and rest.

Day 3
Ausangate Pass and Ausangate Cocha Lagoon
The third stage is the most demanding of the program. After breakfast the group climbs for approximately two and a half hours to Ausangate Pass at 4750 meters according to the detailed itinerary. The trail then descends toward Ausangate Cocha Lagoon where lunch is served.
Palomani Pass and descent to Sorapata
After a break the group climbs to Palomani Pass at 5200 meters the highest point of the route. There is a short rest at the pass before the descent toward Huchuy Finaya at 4650 meters.

Day 4
Climb to Jampa Pass
