Explore Peru in 11 days - this is a tour package specially designed as an unforgettable family vacation to Peru, visit the best destinations in southern Peru. It starts in the capital - Lima, from there we will start our bus trip, we will ride by the south of the Peruvian coast, visiting the Ballestas Islands in Paracas and Huacachina; we will also sandboard in the dunes of Ica and you will get to know the mysterious Nazca lines. In the Peruvian highlands you will visit the white city of Arequipa, the deep Colca Canyon, the impressive Titicaca Lake and finally, to close on a high note, the historical capital of America, Cusco, and the World Wonder, Machu Picchu.
Assistance upon arrival at the "Jorge Chavez" International Airport of Lima. In the afternoon, we will pick you up from your hotel to start the City tour which will last approximately 2 hours, where you will visit the main monuments and colonial buildings of the capital. Night in Lima.
Very early at about 03:30 a.m, we'll pick you up from your hotel to board the bus to the south of Peru, specifically to Paracas; there we will board a boat to visit "Paracas Peninsula". After lunch, we will travel by bus to Huacachina Oasis; there you could also experience the so-called “Sandboarding” or "Table on Sand". After the tour, we'll transfer to your hotel in the city of Ica for the overnight. Night in Ica.
Early in the morning, we will have a 4-hour drive to the Nazca airfield, where we will board a plane that will make a flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines. Finally, at 10:00 p.m. approximately, we will go to the bus station, where we will board the bus for the White City of Arequipa.
We'll reach the city of Arequipa at approximately 06:00 a.m. In the afternoon, we'll take a guided tour of the city, including the "Plaza de Armas/Main Square", the Cathedral, La Compañia Church, among other places. Finally, in the afternoon, you will be transferred to your hotel and you'll have the night off. Night in Arequipa.
Early in the morning, we'll start a 4-hour bus trip to Colca Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in the world (3400 meters approximately), passing through "Pampa Cañahuas" in the National Reserve of "Aguada Blanca", habitat of vicunas and alpacas (South American camelids). Upon arrival at Colca Valley, we will transfer you to your selected hotel or lodge.

Very early in the morning, we'll head towards the "Cruz del Condor" (Condor Cross), where usually the world's largest bird can be seen flying. Upon returning, we'll visit the towns of Yanque, Coporaque, Achoma, and Maca. In the afternoon, we'll take the bus that will bring us to the city of Puno where we'll spend the night.
Early in the morning we will travel to Titicaca Lake and Uros - Taquile Islands, where we will enjoy an exhibition of handicrafts and above all the traditions and customs of the inhabitants of the islands. At night we will take the bus to the city of Cusco.
Our staff will be waiting for you at the bus station to transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon, we will visit the magical city of Cusco and the Inca buildings around the city. We will start with the Cathedral, Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenko, Puka - Pukara and finally Tambomachay. Night in Cusco.
The tour starts by picking you up from your hotel at 08:00 a.m. to tour the Sacred Valley of the Incas. First we will visit the town of Pisac, famous for its handicrafts, where we will also visit the archaeological site. At noon, we will have lunch in Urubamba (capital of the Sacred Valley), then we'll visit the archeological center of Ollantaytambo. Finally we will walk to the train station that is very close, where we will board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town). Night in Aguas Calientes.
We'll board the bus early to get to know the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. At the top of the mountains, you will learn about its history and architecture and especially feel the powerful energy that only Machu Picchu gives you. In the afternoon we will return by train to Ollantaytambo station, where our staff will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel in Cusco. Overnight in Cusco.
Breakfast at the hotel. At the appropriate time, we will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.

In the afternoon (2:00 PM), we'll pick you up from your hotel to start the City tour which will last about 2 hours. We'll begin our tour with a panoramic view of the "Huaca Pucllana" magnificent ceremonial and archeological center built in the fourth century B.C and considered "Sacred Town" by the Incas.
We'll visit the Historic Center of Lima where you will enjoy more than fifty monuments and colonial buildings, highlighting the "Paseo de la República", San Martin Square, Main Square, the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace, the Cathedral, the Municipal Palace between others. The Viceroyalty of Peru was the most important of the Spanish Empire and Lima was its capital.
Then, we will visit the monuments of San Francisco, which is the largest sample of colonial religious art in America. It is really recommended to visit its subterranean crypts known as "Catacombs".
Finally, we'll visit the contemporary city of Lima, we will walk through the most traditional residential areas of Lima, El Olivar of San Isidro, Miraflores, and Larcomar.
Very early at about 03:00 a.m, we'll pick you up from your hotel to board the bus for Southern Peru, specifically Paracas; we will arrive at approximately 07:30 p.m, then we will move by boat to the "Paracas Peninsula", where the sanctuary's most important wildlife of the Peruvian coast is located. A guided boat to the Ballestas Islands in the Paracas National Reserve, where we might observe sea lions, boobies, pelicans, penguins and other seabirds' ride.
After lunch, we will be transferred by bus to Huacachina Oasis,, located amid beautiful tropical palm and surrounded by towering dunes. We will enjoy a beautiful natural landscape, and may also experience some of the most popular sports in recent times, called sandboarding or "Table on Arena". After the tour, we'll be transferred to our hotel in the city of Ica for the overnight.
Early in the morning, after breakfast, we will go to the bus station to head for a journey of about 4 hours to the airfield of Nazca where we will take a plane that will make a 35-minute flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines. which they are enormous line drawings of animals, birds and geometric figures etched in the desert, which can only be appreciated from the air. Finally, at 10:00 p.m from the bus station, we will board the seat-bed bus for the White City of Arequipa, named after its buildings of white ashlar volcanic stone which is thrown by the "Misti volcano".
We will arrive at the city of Arequipa at approximately 5:00 in the morning and we will move to your hotel. In the afternoon we will take a guided tour of the city of Arequipa, including the viewpoint of Carmen Alto and the viewpoint of Yanahuara. We will also enjoy beautiful pre-Columbian terraces still being cultivated by native Collaguas. Refreshments during the trip. On arrival at Colca Valley, transfer to our hotel or lodge selected.
In the afternoon, we recommend having some rest and acclimatize to the altitude. If you are in good physical condition and have some free time to take a walk around the hotel or take a refreshing bath in the hot springs. Dinner and overnight at the selected hotel or lodge in the Colca Valley.
Very early in the morning, we'll head to the Cruz del Condor, where usually the world's largest birdcan be seen flying. On the return, we'll visit the towns of Yanque, Coporaque, Achoma, and Maca. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we'll take the bus that will bring us to the city of Puno where we'll spend the night.
Early in the morning, we will have an unforgettable trip on a boat to the Lake Titicaca to visit the floating islands of the Uros, ancient pre-Inca known Lake, settlers as the Water Tribe. These Andean natives built their own islands by periodically adding new layers of totora (Scirpus Totora) vegetable fiber of the Papyrus family. They also use this material to build their houses and boats. We will continue our trip to Taquile, inhabited by Quechua-speaking natives who have developed from generation to generation, an efficient and original social system while a magnificent weaving technique. After lunch in a local Taquile inn, we'll walk through hills and archaeological sites. In the afternoon, we will return to Puno and at night, we will be approaching the bus to Cusco.

Starting with the Cathedral of Cusco, we will find in its walls priceless art and treasures, which is considered by many the most beautiful works of art in South America. Afterward, we will visit the Qorikancha. This wonderful temple is considered sacred because it harbored priests of the Inca Empire that were in charge of worshiping, Inti, the Sun God. We will then continue our tour of the archaeological centers located around the city of Cusco.
Starting with Sacsayhuaman, the Quechua name means " satisfied falcon" which was built with huge stone blocks. At the time of the Incas, it was called the "house of the sun" and was a religious center of great importance in local tradition. Afterward, we will visit, Kenko, Quechua word meaning "Labyrinth" coined by the Spanish for its labyrinthine underground galleries and small canals carved zigzag. We will continue our tour visiting Puka-Pukara, called the Red Fort, which is built with stones in that tone of color. And finally, we will arrive at Tambomachay which was an Inca temple to worship the water.
Our tour ends at the Plaza de Armas of Cusco, at approximately 6:00 pm.
Full day excursion to the Sacred Valley.
Breakfast at the hotel. At 8:00 AM pick up from your hotel and start visiting the archaeological site of Pisac located 45 minutes from Cusco by private transport. Pisac gives you an idea of advanced knowledge achieved by the Incas in architecture. As in other Inca constructions, some studies show that this was not a fortress but a kind of "real estate", a property of Inca Pachacutec, consisting of platforms, domestic and ceremonial structures and aqueducts that provided the water for agriculture. Another good reason to visit Pisac is its traditional market where you can find some unique and authentic memorabilia.
At noon we head to the town of Urubamba where we will have lunch, a buffet where you can enjoy the delicious Peruvian cuisine. Urubamba was one of the main agricultural centers of the Inca Empire. Currently here the best corn in the world is harvested during the rainy season and the valley own fruits abound, such as peaches, cherry tree, quince, strawberries, among others.
In the afternoon, we will visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo, which was a strategic military, agricultural and religious center to manage and control the Sacred Valley of the Incas; the site was presumed to be used for agricultural, as well as for the military. Walls and watchtowers (probably to protect them from jungle ethnicities). This archaeological site comprises a series of superimposed terraces, showing impressive and large stone blocks finely carved and placed on the upper deck. After we will board the train to Aguas Calientes to visit Machu Picchu early the next day.
Early breakfast at the hotel. We will go to the bus station to board the Archaeological Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, the journey will take 25 minutes and we will finally get to appreciate the breathtaking sunrise. In Machu Picchu we start the tour by guiding you to know better the history and architecture of Machu Picchu. Marvel at the Inca buildings and the natural environment that surrounds it. The tour will last approximately two hours. After the tour, you will have time to explore Machu Picchu. In the afternoon, we will board the train back. We will pick you up from the station to transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.
