Horseback riding in the Sacred Valley of the Incas is a unique and rejuvenating experience. This tour begins with a pickup from your hotel at 7:00 in the morning. We will embark on a 1-hour and 30-minute journey through the Peruvian Andes, turning it into a magical and unforgettable ride. The 4-hour horseback ride starts at the hacienda where they will be waiting for us and where we will be assigned the corresponding equipment for the ride with Peruvian Paso horses (National Peruvian Heritage, considered the best saddle horse in the world). Our journey begins in Paucarbamba, then we will cross the Tarabamba bridge that spans the Urubamba River, where the landscape will leave you amazed by the trails, nature, and mountains during the ride, until we reach the town of Pichingoto, a Quechua community that still preserves its adobe houses and small cave constructions.
After a short break, we will return to the hacienda on a ride along the banks of the Vilcanota River, enjoying the best views and microclimates, and then we will leave our horses. From this point, our private transport will be waiting for us to take us to a buffet lunch and then back to your hotel in the city of Cusco.

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 7:00 a.m. in our private vehicle, and we will head to the Horse Hacienda located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, where we will meet the horseman and our Peruvian Paso Horses, considered a Cultural Heritage of Peru.
We will start our horseback ride within the hacienda's premises, then cross the Tarabamba Bridge, and continue on a horseshoe path near the Vilcanota River, amidst eucalyptus, taras, and willow forests, until we reach the town of Pichingoto, a Quechua community that still preserves its adobe houses and small cave constructions that were inhabited by the area's first settlers, who initially processed salt.
Our tour concludes at approximately 1:00 p.m. at the horse hacienda, where our transportation will be waiting to take us to our buffet lunch. After a short break, we will return in our private transport to your hotel in the city of Cusco, enjoying various panoramic views of crop fields, towns, and finally, a panoramic view of the city. This concludes this half-day horseback ride through the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
