At midday, we will have lunch in Urubamba, and in the afternoon we will visit the Ollantaytambo Fortress. After the tour, we will transfer to the train station to travel to Aguas Calientes, a journey of approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes.
Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Early in the morning, we will transfer you to the bus station to ascend to the Machu Picchu Archaeological Sanctuary. The journey takes about 25 minutes along a zigzag road until reaching the Inca citadel.
The guide will accompany you for approximately 3 hours, explaining the history and architecture of the Inca culture. During the tour, you will visit the agricultural and urban areas of the citadel, which include plazas, temples, pathways, stairways, terraces, and aqueducts supported by stone retaining walls. Machu Picchu stands out for its extraordinary architecture and engineering, which is why it is considered one of the 7 Wonders of the World.

The 2-day Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour begins at approximately 7:30 a.m. with hotel pickup in Cusco. Our first destination is the Pisac archaeological site, located about 45 minutes from the city.
Pisac stands out for its extensive agricultural terraces and Inca architecture, which demonstrate the advanced knowledge of this civilization. The site was part of the Qhapaq Ñan, the ancient Inca road system that connected different regions of the empire. At midday, we will head to Urubamba to enjoy a buffet lunch, where you will savor Peruvian cuisine.
In the afternoon, we will visit Ollantaytambo, an impressive Inca fortress that functioned as a military, religious, and agricultural storage center. Here, you will observe massive stone walls, agricultural terraces, and watchtowers that highlight the strategic importance of this site. Ollantaytambo preserves its original Inca urban layout, making it one of the few places where these features can still be seen. It was the Inca Pachacútec who developed Ollantaytambo as an administrative center of the Sacred Valley.
At the end of the visit, we will board the train at the Ollantaytambo station bound for Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night.
