The Sacred Valley tour begins at approximately 7:00 a.m., with pick-up from your hotel as we head to the Pisac Archaeological Site, located about 45 minutes from Cusco. Pisac offers a clear insight into the advanced knowledge achieved by the Incas, reflected in its extensive agricultural terraces, architecture, and urban planning.
This site holds a special charm as it was part of the Qhapaq Ñan (Inca road system), which once connected the Manu Biosphere Reserve (southern jungle) and also served as a route leading to Qosqo (Cusco), considered the center or “navel” of the world by the Incas.
After visiting the Pisac archaeological site, we will explore the nearby town, strolling through its narrow streets until reaching its famous artisan market, where you will find a wide variety of original handmade items such as paintings, artwork, keychains, and traditional crafts. Around midday, we will head to the town of Urubamba to enjoy a buffet lunch, allowing you to savor a delicious variety of Peruvian cuisine.
In the afternoon, we will visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, which once served as a strategic military, agricultural, and religious center used to administer and control the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This is evidenced by its impressive constructions, believed to have functioned as agricultural storehouses, defensive walls, and watchtowers.
Later in the afternoon, we will board our train in Ollantaytambo bound for Aguas Calientes, a charming town where we will spend the night, bringing our day to a close.
Overnight in Aguas Calientes

Early in the morning, our guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the bus station for a 25-minute ride up to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary, where we will enjoy a guided tour along the main circuit (Circuit 2 – subject to ticket availability).
You will have the opportunity to take the classic panoramic photo of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, after which we will begin the guided visit. During the tour, you will learn about the significance of this masterpiece of Inca engineering, art, and architecture, as well as the importance of its constructions built with enormous stone blocks perfectly fitted together. The guided tour lasts approximately 2 hours.
After exploring the Machu Picchu citadel, you will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to enjoy lunch on your own before boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, we will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco.

One of the most popular experiences among travelers is the Maras and Moray tour, which allows you to enjoy the landscapes, culture, and unique attractions of these Andean villages. We will pick you up from your hotel at approximately 7:30 a.m. and travel for about one hour to visit Moray, considered an Inca agricultural laboratory due to its impressive circular terraces, which were used for cultivating and experimenting with different crops.
We will then continue to Maras (Villa San Francisco de Asís de Maras), the region’s main salt producer. Here, you will discover the remarkable ingenuity and skill of the Incas in extracting this mineral, known as the “white gold of the Andes.” The district of Maras was once a mandatory stop for muleteers transporting tropical products—especially coca leaves—from the high jungle to Cusco.
Our tour concludes at approximately 2:00 p.m., with arrival back at your hotel in the city of Cusco.
OPTIONAL: On this day, for an additional fee of $10, you may switch to the Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) Tour.

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, at the appropriate time we will transfer you to the airport to catch your departure flight. This marks the end of your Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Maras Moray, and Maras Salt Mines tour.

We will welcome you upon your arrival at the Cusco airport and then transfer you to your hotel so you can settle in and rest. After you are comfortably settled, your experience on the Machu Picchu, Cusco, and Sacred Valley tour will begin, exploring the city of Cusco and the different Inca archaeological sites located around the city. We will pick you up again at 1:00 p.m., officially starting one of our most complete Machu Picchu travel packages.
The tour begins at the Cusco Cathedral, decorated with fine carved woodwork, impressive altars, and beautiful paintings created by local artists from the Cusco School, which preserve hidden elements of indigenous thought.
Next, we will take a short walk through the streets of the historic center toward the Qoricancha, or Temple of the Sun. According to chronicles, entry to this sacred site required fasting and going barefoot, as it was considered an indigenous sanctuary dedicated to the deities of the Sun, the Moon, the Stars, the Rainbow, Thunder, and Lightning. Here, you will admire the extraordinary Inca stonework, featuring the highest level of precision in hard stone cutting—so exact that not even a sheet of paper can fit between the stones—and which has remained stable despite earthquakes to this day.
After visiting Qoricancha, we will board our transport to Sacsayhuaman, located 3 km above the city. From here, you will enjoy panoramic views of the entire city of Cusco.
Sacsayhuaman was built with massive limestone blocks, some weighing up to 130 tons, forming three levels of zigzagging walls. This vast esplanade served as a ceremonial plaza where the Incas celebrated their most important festivals, including Inti Raymi (Festival of the Sun), which is still reenacted every June 24th with thousands of attendees recreating ancient Inca ceremonies.
We will also visit Qenqo, whose name means “labyrinth.” Located one kilometer from Sacsayhuaman, this limestone construction showcases impressive stone carvings across an area of 500 meters, accompanied by structures that historians believe were used for astronomical, religious, and embalming or mummification purposes.
Next, we will visit Puka Pukara, a name derived from two Quechua words: Puka (red) and Pukara (fortress), meaning “Red Fortress.” This site served as a strategic control and surveillance point for access to and exit from the Imperial City of Cusco and functioned as a territorial boundary dividing regions and regulating movement.
As the final stop of the tour, we will visit Tambomachay, a resting place located 9 km from the city of Cusco, better known as the Baths of the Inca due to its water fountains, or also called the Waters of Eternal Youth because of the constant flow of its springs. We will then conclude our City Tour near the Plaza de Armas of Cusco, allowing you time to enjoy dinner before returning to your hotel to rest.

After the tour, a walk around the Plaza de Armas and its surroundings is almost inevitable. Here, you can enjoy famous Peruvian cuisine at nearby restaurants or simply relax on one of the benches in the plaza and take the classic souvenir photo in a warm atmosphere. If you enjoy nightlife, you will find many bars and nightclubs around the plaza, filled with tourists and locals looking to have fun.
To begin this tour through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, our team will pick you up from your hotel at approximately 7:00 a.m. We will travel for about 1 hour to reach Pisac. Along the way, you will appreciate the beauty of the Sacred Valley and understand its historical and present-day importance to humanity.
Continuing the route, we will visit the Pisac Archaeological Site, located on the upper part of the town. Here, you will observe how local inhabitants still use Inca agricultural techniques to cultivate crops on steep mountain slopes, achieving optimal productivity.
We will then visit the Pisac artisan market, a colorful place filled with a wide variety of handcrafted products for sale. At midday, we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a tourist restaurant in Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley.
After lunch, we will head to Ollantaytambo, located 76 km from Cusco, where you will see large lithic structures made of finely carved stone blocks weighing over 100 tons. These stones were transported to this mountain and used for astronomical purposes. Ollantaytambo is strategically located between three valleys that lead toward the jungle edge, following the course of the river toward Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a key highlight of our Cusco and Machu Picchu travel packages. Due to its strategic control points, Ollantaytambo functioned as an important Inca fortress.
Ollantaytambo is the only living town in Peru that preserves its original Inca urban layout intact. Its stone streets and water channels still function exactly as they did over 500 years ago. Walking here is literally walking through a living Inca town, where modern houses were built upon original Inca foundations.
From Ollantaytambo, we will transfer to the train station and travel to Aguas Calientes on a journey of approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes. Along the way, you will enjoy views of lush jungle vegetation and the Vilcanota River throughout the route. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel. You will then have the rest of the evening free to explore the town, stroll through its streets, shop for handicrafts, or dine at one of the many nearby restaurants.

The bus ride, lasting approximately 25 minutes, is the most common way to reach the Inca citadel. This day represents the most anticipated moment of our Machu Picchu tour packages, where history comes alive among mountains and clouds.
Upon arrival, we will tour the main circuit (Circuit 2 – subject to ticket availability) and enjoy the classic photo of the citadel. Our guide will then begin the guided tour of Machu Picchu, allowing you to fully understand its history in perfect harmony with nature and ancient wisdom. We will walk through the agricultural and urban sectors, including plazas, temples, pathways, staircases, terraces, aqueducts, and the remarkable architecture of the Inca Citadel, during a tour lasting approximately 2 hours.
As we ascend, you will admire the mountains surrounding Machu Picchu and the Urubamba River flowing toward the cloud forest. To begin our Moray and Maras Salt Mines Tour, we will pick you up from your hotel at approximately 7:30 a.m. and travel to Moray and the Maras Salt Mines. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful Andean landscapes surrounded by native trees and wildlife.
First, we will visit the Moray Archaeological Site, located 38 km from Cusco. Moray is considered an Inca agricultural laboratory, built in the form of circular terraces arranged in concentric rings. The deepest depression reaches 80 meters, with the lowest terrace measuring 36 meters in diameter.
Within these terraces, temperature variations range from 0.5 to 1.5°C per level, creating up to 20 different microclimates. It is believed that this site was used to cultivate crops that could not grow naturally in this region.
Next, we will visit the Maras Salt Mines, composed of approximately 3,000 small salt ponds, each producing between 50 and 80 kilograms of salt per season. During Inca times, these salt mines supplied Cusco and surrounding areas. The ponds are fed by a natural underground saltwater spring, and the evaporation process takes nearly two months per season. Maras salt is highly valued, especially the pink mineral salt, which is considered the highest quality and is also known for its medicinal properties. Don’t forget to purchase some along the way, as many products are made from this unique salt.
Both sites are rich in history and fascinating facts, which our guide will share with you throughout the tour. After visiting these remarkable places, we will return to the city of Cusco, where the tour concludes at approximately 2:00 p.m., bringing our Moray and Maras Salt Mines tour to an end.
