HUAYNA PICCHU AND MACHU PICCHU TOUR

In this Machu Picchu + Huayna Picchu Tour, you will have 2 entries, allowing you to experience both these incredible sites in just one day. And if you are at Machu Picchu, you definitely cannot miss the opportunity to hike to the top of Huayna Picchu Mountain or Wayna Picchu. It's an unforgettable experience that you'll treasure forever. To reach the Huayna Picchu Mountain, you'll need to hike from Machu Picchu towards the summit, which takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of ascent, and a similar amount of time for the descent.

This trail is somewhat risky at some points, but undoubtedly exciting from start to finish, and the great reward will be the breathtaking view you'll have of Machu Picchu, its architecture, construction, and the incredible natural surroundings that surround it. You'll create the best memories with amazing photos that are 100% Instagram-worthy.

MACHU PICCHU AND HUAYNA PICCHU 1 DAY TOUR

What a fantastic journey! You'll not only get to visit Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, but also hike up to the summit of Wayna Picchu (Huayna Picchu).

To accomplish this tour in just one day, we'll start very early at approximately 3:30 a.m. We'll pick you up from your hotel and transfer you by car to the train station in Ollantaytambo (about 1 hour and 30 minutes). Our service is personalized as we prefer small groups. At Ollantaytambo, we'll board the train that passes through the Sacred Valley of the Incas (about 1 hour and 50 minutes) – a route where you'll enjoy beautiful landscapes until we reach the town of Aguas Calientes.

Upon arriving in Aguas Calientes, our guide will be waiting for you to take you to the bus that will transfer you to the Archaeological Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. This bus journey takes approximately 25 minutes and is the most common way to reach the Inca citadel. Once at Machu Picchu, our professional tourism guide will begin the guided tour of Machu Picchu to provide you with a deeper understanding of the history and architecture of the Inca Citadel. You'll also have the opportunity to take the classic postcard photo in Machu Picchu. This tour includes the Circuit 2 ticket, allowing you to explore and learn more about Inca culture. The guided tour lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours.

After completing the cultural and historical tour of the Machu Picchu Citadel, we embark on the short adventure towards Huayna Picchu (Wayna Picchu). Climbing this mountain will be a unique and adrenaline-filled experience. The ascent to the summit takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. As we ascend, you'll be treated to views of the surrounding mountains and the Urubamba River flowing towards the mountainous jungle. In the final part of the hike, you'll encounter some steps that lead to the summit. This last section is the most challenging, as the slope is very steep. Finally, you'll reach the highest part of Huayna Picchu, where the view is spectacular, and you'll have reasonable time to take the best photos. Afterward, we'll take the same path for the return journey (about 1 hour and 30 minutes). We recommend caution.

The tour to Wayna Picchu is highly recommended, but please note that you'll need 2 separate entrances (1 for Machu Picchu and another for Huayna Picchu mountain).

In the afternoon, we'll conclude the tour and return to the town of Aguas Calientes to board the train back to Ollantaytambo. Our transportation service will be waiting to pick you up from the Ollantaytambo station and transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco. This marks the end of our Machu Picchu + Huayna Picchu Tour in just one day.
