Instead of hiking for 1 hour, you will ride an ATV for approximately 20 to 30 minutes to a point near the Mountain. We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 4:00 a.m. and continue through the South Valley. During the 2-hour journey, we will observe different landscapes until reaching Pitumarca, where we will have breakfast. Then we will continue through the district of Checacupe, Known for its three bridges representing different historical periods: 

• Inca Bridge: Built in 1448 with braided straw and vegetable strings, it is part of the Qhapaq Ñan (Royal pathway of the king). Its construction is a replica attributed to the Inca Wiracocha. 
• Colonial Bridge: Built in the 16th century with stone, reflecting Spanish architecture of the period and the introduction of the arc architecture to the Andean world. 
• Republican Bridge: Its metal structure represents modern architecture. 

After taking photos, we will head to our base in Ccairahuiri, where the guide will provide instructions on how to operate the ATV. Instead of hiking uphill for 1 hour, you will ride an all-terrain ATV for 20 minutes to reach 7 Colors Mountain in Vinicunca at 5,036 above sea level (16,522 ft). 

Our guide will explain the orography, ecosystem, and colors of the mountain, which are produced by the oxidation of different minerals. The slopes display colors ranging from red, purple, green, pink, and yellow.

From this point, you will have a view of Apu Ausangate at 6,384 meters above sea level (20,945 ft), known as the “creator of the waters.” Its glacier melt forms the Vilcanota River, which runs through the Urubamba Valley and eventually to Machu Picchu.

Once the visit is completed, we will descend for 20 minutes by ATV to the base to leave the vehicles and then transfer to the restaurant to enjoy a traditional lunch.

We will return to your hotel in Cusco at approximately 4:00 p.m., concluding the tour.
