At the time of the Incas, it was called the "house of the sun" and was a religious center of great importance in local tradition. Afterward, we will visit, Kenko, Quechua word meaning "Labyrinth" coined by the Spanish for its labyrinthine underground galleries and small canals carved zigzag. We will continue our tour visiting Puka-Pukara, called the Red Fort, which is built with stones in that tone of colour.
