Tour To Machu Picchu For Individual Travelers

Visit Machu Picchu on a one-day tour specially designed for travelers who want to experience Machu Picchu on their own (without a companion). The journey crosses the mountains of Cusco’s high jungle region until reaching the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. This tour is ideal for solo travelers who prefer to explore Machu Picchu at their own pace, with small groups that make it easier to connect with other participants.

Even though this is a more personalized option, we guarantee the same quality and visiting time as regular Machu Picchu tours. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy this unique and enriching experience!

All of our Machu Picchu tours can also be done individually, depending on the personalized experience you want to have. Feel free to contact our travel agents.

Day 01

Individual Tour To Machu Picchu

We will begin the private Machu Picchu tour with hotel pickup and then head to the bus terminal of the train company. On the train company’s bus, we will travel for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes through breathtaking Andean landscapes to reach the Ollantaytambo station. This ride offers spectacular views and a unique chance to admire nature at its finest. In Ollantaytambo, you will board the train that will take you to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu town.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our guide will be waiting to accompany you on a 25-minute bus ride up to Machu Picchu. Once inside the citadel, the guide will lead a 2 to 3-hour tour explaining the history, architecture, and key features of Machu Picchu.

After the guided visit, you will return to Aguas Calientes by bus, where you will have free time to enjoy lunch at one of the town’s restaurants and take a break. Later, you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, and from there, the bus will return to Cusco. We will drop you off at your hotel to officially end the tour.

NOTE: This tour operates with specific train schedules, so we recommend checking with our sales agent for more details.
