Day 1: LIMA - INTERNATIONAL ARRIVAL TO LIMA - CITY TOUR:
Assistance upon arrival at the "Jorge Chavez" Lima International Airport and subsequent transfer to the chosen hotel.
In the afternoon, we'll pick you up from your hotel to start the City tour which will last about 2 hours. We'll begin our tour with a panoramic view of the "Huaca Pucllana" magnificent ceremonial and archeological center built in the fourth century B.C and considered "Sacred Town" by the Incas.
We'll visit the Historic Center of Lima where you will enjoy more than fifty monuments and colonial buildings, highlighting the "Paseo de la República", San Martin Square, Main Square, the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace, the Cathedral, the Municipal Palace between others. The Viceroyalty of Peru was the most important of the Spanish Empire and Lima was its capital.
Then, we'll visit the MUSEUM OF CENTRAL RESERVE BANK*, here we'll enjoy the collection of "Peru's Treasures", a fine selection of gold objects, ceramics and textiles of various pre-Columbian cultures. Then, we'll visit he monuments of San Francisco, which is the largest sample of colonial religious art in America. It is really recommended the visit to its subterranean crypts known as "Catacombs".
Finally, we'll visit the contemporary city of Lima, we will walk through the most traditional residential areas of Lima, El Olivar of San Isidro, Miraflores and Larcomar.

Day 2: LIMA - PUERTO MALDONADO - TAMBOPATA LODGE:
Early in the morning, we'll pick you up from your hotel to head to the airport and catch our flight to cross the Peruvian Andes and reach the Peruvian Amazon.
We'll arrive at the city of Puerto Maldonado, a very hot place where we will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to WASAI Maldonado Ecolodge, where we will receive our welcome with a delicious cocktail or tropical fruit.
You will embark for a certain time a motorboat (trip) and transfer approximately 3 and 1⁄2 hours up to the Tambopata River to the WASAI Tambopata Lodge (Lunchbox on route). During the trip, we will have the opportunity to observe various species of birds, families of capybaras, the largest rodents in the world, alligators and other wildlife. Reception and accommodation at the lodge.
After a short rest, we'll take a night walk to the forest to observe and hear insects, bats, frogs, and maybe have an occasional encounter with nocturnal mammals. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
The diverse sounds of the jungle which will accompany our first night in the Amazon. Night at WASAI Tambopata Lodge.
Day 3: VISIT TO MACAW CLAY LICK:
We'll get up early (04:30 a.m) and take a light coffee or mate to start our 40-minute journey upstream to the Macaw Clay Lick of "Chuncho" in Bahuaja-Sonene National Park. We will have the opportunity to enjoy beautiful natural sceneries and wildlife on the banks of the Tambopata River.
Upon arrival, if weather conditions allow, we could see one of the greatest spectacles of the rainforest: Hundreds of parrots and macaws of various species to feed on the mud of a ravine, an experience you will never forget! Then, we'll take a snack. By midmorning, we'll return to the lodge for breakfast and enjoy some free time, either to rest.
Also, you'll have the opportunity to bathe in the Tambopata River. Those who wish may practise Kayaking (*) or catch some of the more than 250 species of fish that inhabit the area.
After lunch, we'll go into the jungle making a Ethnobotany walk along the trails of Tambopata, learning about medicinal plants and trees in the area, and observing the amazing ecosystem of the Amazon, where we might see palm trees walking, ancient kapok trees (trees ), snakes, etc.
At nightfall, we will take a night-walk by boat in search of caimans. Dinner. Night at WASAI Tambopata Lodge.

Day 4: PUERTO MALDONADO - CUSCO:
After breakfast, we will return by boat to Puerto Maldonado to take our flight to Cusco. At about noon, we will arrive to the capital of the Inca Empire, they will pick up us from the airport and we will go to the chosen hotel. We'll have the rest of the afternoon free to acclimatize to the Cusquenian altitude.
Day 5: CUSCO CITY AND VICINITY.:
Enjoy a free morning in Cusco and then, at approximately 1:00 PM, we will meet at the hotel and start our city tour. Starting with the Cathedral of Cusco, we will find in its walls priceless art and treasures, which is considered by many the most beautiful works of art in South America. Afterward, we will visit the Qorikancha.
This wonderful temple is considered sacred because it harbored priests of the Inca Empire that were in charge of worshiping, Inti, the Sun God. We will then continue our tour of the archaeological centers located around the city of Cusco. Starting with Sacsayhuaman, the Quechua name means "satisfied falcon" which was built with huge stone blocks. At the time of the Incas, it was called the "house of the sun" and was a religious center of great importance in local tradition. Afterward, we will visit, Kenko, Quechua word meaning "Labyrinth" coined by the Spanish for its labyrinthine underground galleries and small canals carved zigzag. We will continue our tour visiting Puka-Pukara, called the Red Fort, which is built with stones in that tone of colour.
And finally, we will arrive at Tambomachay which was an Inca temple to worship the water.
Our tour ends at the Plaza de Armas of Cusco, at approximately 6:00 pm.
Recommendations:
• After the tour, stroll through the Plaza de Armas and surrounding areas, where you can appreciate the work of the Cusquenian artisan craft stores. Grab a bite at the famous Peruvian cuisine restaurants nearby or relax on the park benches of Plaza de Armas and then take a photo there for memories to last during the warm weather in the afternoon, despite the cold nights of Cusco. And if you like the night around the square you will find many nightclubs and bars filled with tourists and locals who expect to have fun with good music and drinks.

Day 6: SACRED VALLEY - CUSCO - PISAC - OLLANTAYTAMBO - AGUAS CALIENTES:
Full day excursion to the Sacred Valley.
Breakfast at the hotel. At 8:00 AM pick up from your hotel and start visiting the archaeological site of Pisac located 45 minutes from Cusco by private transport. Pisac give you an idea of advanced knowledge achieved by the Incas in architecture. As in other Inca constructions, some studies show that this was not a fortress but a kind of "real estate", property of Inca Pachacutec, consisting of platforms, domestic and ceremonial structures and aqueducts that provided the water for agriculture. Another good reason to visit Pisac is its traditional market where you can find some unique and authentic memorabilia.
At noon we head to the town of Urubamba where we will have lunch, a buffet where you can enjoy the delicious Peruvian cuisine. Urubamba was one of the main agricultural centers of the Inca Empire. Currently here the best corn in the world is harvested during the rainy season and the valley own fruits abound, such as peaches, cherry tree, quince, strawberries, among others..
In the afternoon, we will visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo, which was a strategic military, agricultural and religious center to manage and control the Sacred Valley of the Incas; the constructs were presumed to be used for agricultural, as well as for military. Walls and watchtowers (probably to protect them from jungle ethnicities).
This archaeological site comprises a series of superimposed terraces, showing impressive and large stone blocks finely carved and placed on the upper deck. After we will board the train to Aguas Calientes to visit Machu Picchu early the next day.
Recommendations:
• We suggest suitable footwear, you will climb stairs with many steps. Bring a small backpack, camera, wear a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a water bottle. In Pisac, do not forget to try the delicious empanadas, and purchase an artisan souvenir/memorabilia In Urubamba enjoy a delicious buffet lunch where we invite you to try the corn of Sacred Valley.

Day 7: CUSCO - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO:
Early breakfast at the hotel. At 5:50 AM, we will go to the bus station to board the Archaeological Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, the journey will take 25 minutes and we will finally get to appreciate the breathtaking sunrise. At 8:00 AM we start the tour by guiding you to know better the history and architecture of Machu Picchu. Marvel at the Inca buildings and the natural environment that surrounds it. The tour will last approximately two hours and at the end you will have until 12:00 PM to rest and freely explore Machu Picchu.
In the afternoon we will have until 3:00 PM for lunch, enjoy the hot springs of Aguas Calientes and visit the town. At 4:00 PM we board the train to Poroy. Arriving at approximately 7:00 PM, we pick you up from the station to transport you to your hotel in Cusco. Hours may vary based on the outputs of trains. Recommendations: Arrive half an hour before the time of train departure.
In Machu Picchu we climb many stairs, use appropriate shoes for a hike. We suggest that you carry a small backpack, a camera, wear a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a water bottle.
After the guided tour you will have free time at Machu Picchu so enjoy the magical moment, appreciate the wonder, open your arms and recharge your energy. - You can also visit the thermal baths of Aguas Calientes.

Day 9: UROS - TAQUILE - PUNO:
We pick you up from your hotel at 6:40 AM and we transport you to the port of Lake Titicaca, after a 30 minute drive, we reach the beautiful floating islands of the Uros, the only ones in the world. We continue the trip to Taquile arriving at 11:30 AM, after a walk of 40 minutes from the port to the village, visiting Taquile for 2 hours, enjoying the scenery, handicraft exhibitions and above all, the experiences Islanders who maintain and preserve their ancestral customs. There you can have lunch. Night hotel in Puno.
