The special thing about this 4 day Machu Picchu tours is that we will do to the Sacred Valley tour and then we will take the train to Aguas Calientes town, exploring the most important aspects of the Inca legaly. We´ll pass the night there and the next day, very early, you will take the bus uphill to the ancient and breathtaking citadel of Machu Picchu to appreciate its stunning architecture, feel their energy and the amazing natural environment that will make your trip an unforgettable experience. Of course that you will also do the Cusco city tour and the Sacred Valley route. In addition, you will feel the love of our people joyfully receiving their visitors.

Day 1: Cusco City tour and vicinity.

We will be waiting for you at the airport and then transfer you to your hotel. As a first step, you will do the Cusco city tour, exploring the Inca sites around the city. Beginning in the Cathedral, the Koricancha temple, the fortrees of Sacsayhuaman, the remains of Kenko and Puka - Pukara and finally the Tambomachay royal baths.
Overnight in Cusco.

Day 2:: Sacred Valley tour and Cusco to Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu

This day starts by picking you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM to begin the Sacred Valley ride. Discover the Pisac village famous for its handicrafts, where you will also visit the archaeological remains, placed on the top of a mountain. At noon, lunch in Urubamba town, then you will explore the Ollantaytambo fortress which is where you will board the train and then, after arriving, spend the night in Aguas Calientes.

Day 3: Cusco to Machu Picchu - Cusco.

You will board the bus very early, and after 25 minuts of going uphill you will be finally, treading the famous Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.
This ancient remains are allocated on the highest point of the mountain, where you will learn from its history and architecture and especially feel the awesome energy that many travelers talk about. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 4: Cusco - Airport.

Day 1: Cusco City tour and vicinity.

In the afternoon, at approximately 1:00 PM, we will meet at the hotel and start our city tour. Starting with the Cathedral of Cusco, you will find in its walls priceless art and treasures, which is considered by many the most beautiful art works in South America. Afterward, you will visit the Qorikancha temple. This wonderful place is considered sacred because it harbored priests of the Inca Empire that were in charge of worshiping, Inti, the Sun God. You will then continue the tour to the archaeological centers placed around the city of Cusco. Starting with the Sacsayhuaman fortress, the Quechua word means "satisfied falcon" which was built with massive stone blocks. At the time of the Incas, it was called the "house of the sun" and it was a religious center of great importance in local tradition. Afterward, you will visit, Kenko, Quechua word meaning "Labyrinth" coined by the Spanish for its labyrinthine underground galleries and small canals carved as a zigzag.
You will continue the tour visiting Puka-Pukara, called the Red Fort, which is built with stones in that tone of colour.
And finally, you will arrive at the Tambomachay royal baths, which where an Inca temple to worship the water.
Our tour ends at the Plaza de Armas of Cusco, at approximately 6:00 pm.

Recommendations:
After the tour, stroll through the Plaza de Armas and surrounding areas, where you can appreciate the work of the Cusqueñian artisan craft stores. Grab a bite at the famous Peruvian cuisine restaurants nearby or relax on the park benches of Plaza de Armas, you can take a picture in this original and unique place.
If you like at the night you can take a walk around the square and you will find many nightclubs and bars filled with tourists and locals who expect to have fun with good music, dance and drinks.

Day 2: Sacred Valley tour - Cusco – Pisac – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes

Full day excursion to the Sacred Valley .
Breakfast at the hotel. At 8:00 AM pick you up from your hotel and start visiting the archaeological site of Pisac located about 45 minutes from Cusco by private transport.
Pisac will give you an idea of the advanced knowledge achieved by the Incas in architecture. As many other Inca constructions, some studies show that this was not a fortress but a kind of "real estate", property of Inca Pachacutec, consisting of platforms, domestic and ceremonial structures and aqueducts that provided water for agriculture.
Another good reason to visit Pisac is its traditional market where you can find some unique and authentic memorabilia.

At noon you will head to the town of Urubamba where you will have lunch, a buffet where you can enjoy the delicious Peruvian cuisine. Urubamba town was one of the main agricultural centers of the Inca Empire.
Currently here are the best corn in the world, that is harvested during the rainy season and the valley own fruits abound, such as peaches, cherry tree, quince, strawberries, among others.

In the afternoon, you will visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo, which was a strategic military, agricultural and religious center to manage and control the Sacred Valley of the Incas; the constructs were presumed to be used for agricultural, as well as for military. Walls and watchtowers (probably to protect them from jungle ethnicities). This archaeological site comprises a series of superimposed terraces, showing impressive and large stone blocks finely carved and placed on the upper deck. After we will board the train to Aguas Calientes to visit Machu Picchu early the next day.

Recommendations:
We suggest suitable footwear, you will climb stairs with many steps. Bring a small backpack, camera, wear a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a water bottle. In Pisac, do not forget to try the delicious empanadas, and purchase an artisan souvenir/memorabilia In Urubamba enjoy a delicious buffet lunch where we invite you to try the corn of Sacred Valley.

Day 3: Cusco - Machu Picchu - Cusco.

Early breakfast at the hotel. At 5:50 AM, we will go to the bus station to board the Archaeological Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, the journey will take 25 minutes and we will finally get to appreciate the breathtaking sunrise. At 8:00 AM we start the tour by guiding you to know better the history and architecture of Machu Picchu. Marvel at the Inca buildings and the natural environment that surrounds it. The tour will last approximately two hours and at the end you will have until 12:00 PM to rest and freely explore Machu Picchu.

In the afternoon we will have until 3:00 PM for lunch, enjoy the hot springs of Aguas Calientes and visit the town. At 4:00 PM we board the train to Poroy. Arriving at approximately 7:00 PM, we pick you up from the station to transport you to your hotel in Cusco. Hours may vary based on the outputs of trains. Recommendations: Arrive half an hour before the time of train departure.

In Machu Picchu we climb many stairs, use appropriate shoes for a hike. We suggest that you carry a small backpack, a camera, wear a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a water bottle. After the guided tour you will have free time at Machu Picchu so enjoy the magical moment, appreciate the wonder, open your arms and recharge your energy. - You can also visit the thermal baths of Aguas Calientes.
