It was built over 36 years by the effort of the entire community, being part of the history of the city of Ica, its architecture is unique in the world and is a beautiful building that deserves to be preserved for future generations.
The style of this temple is of neoclassical architecture with a Latin cross plan. It is characterized by three portals with brick arches. The history dates back to the construction of the old chapel on May 13, 1556, when the city of Ica had not yet been founded and was then called Villa de Valverde.

Located 900 m south of the Plaza de Armas.
Inside there is a large dome supported by huge columns, which highlights the image of the Moreno Christ, known as the Lord of Luren, which is with the virgin looking at him standing and the statue Magdalena crying embraced in the lower part of the wood. The Christ is approximately 1.80 meters tall and his hair is human.
The festival is celebrated in October and Holy Week, with a massive procession.

The main nave is covered by a barrel vault with lunettes and reinforced arches, the side naves have small domes, the main facade shows a triangular pediment and two bell towers. Almost the entire structure is composed of the traditional quincha, with cane and mud framework. The columns of the main nave have a reticular wooden structure. The vertical elements are connected to each other by horizontal and inclined leather ties thus giving a precise structural function. Apparently the original construction techniques gave that natural tightness of the leather straps through their natural drying after installation.

Located at the intersection of La Libertad and Bolibar streets, next to the Plaza de Armas.
The most attractive thing for this cathedral, represents its wonderful styles in which they are based, in the outer part is observed a neoclassical style represented in its cover in addition in the pediment figures in high relief and in the inner part, the baroque style of the pulpit and the altars.

It was founded 250 years ago. It was founded to serve the poorest of the province, it was in operation until 1973. Currently there is the church of San Juan de Dios. The land of the old Hospital is administered by the Beneficencia de Ica.

Located in the 3rd block of Tacna street in Ica.
In spite of the 2007 earthquake that damaged this church and its restoration, national and foreign tourists visit the place to observe its majestic architecture.
The patron saint of this church is the Virgen del Carmen, who every year from July 7 celebrates her novenas. The main celebration is on July 16th.

It was inaugurated in 1961, it is another of the beautiful churches that Ica has, it belongs to the Franciscan order, its altar is finely decorated with gold leaf applications. Its ceiling is vaulted with applications of figures representing suns and Greek type cornices lined in marble, it abounds in stained glass windows where the life of St. Francis of Assisi is depicted.

Located between the intersection of Municipalidad and San Martín streets.
The church of San Francisco is striking for its modernized Romanesque architectural style, the facade has three bodies and two double-arched towers.
It also has three naves, the main one is vaulted and culminates in a marble temple with the image of the Immaculate Conception. The sides of the nave end in secondary altars that house different sacred images.
It is worth mentioning that the church houses a good number of images of saints, there is also a canvas of the Lima school where the image of the Virgin with Saint Dominic of Guzman and Saint Francis of Assisi, dating from the second half of the eighteenth century.
The church has catacombs in its interior, but its entrance is forbidden, due to the danger it represents as a consequence of a previous earthquake.

Located between the avenues 28 de Julio and Francisco Bolognesi, one block from the Plaza de Armas of Pisco, it was destroyed by the earthquake of August 15, 2007 like all the other temples of the city.
Now that there is a bamboo-based church, domestic and foreign tourists come to appreciate the new bamboo-based church, which shows the remains left by the old church.
