We offer you a popular alternative trekking to machupicchu, the Short Inca Trail which can be completed in 2 days. This is an easier trek and starts further along the Vilcanota River Valley closer to Machu Picchu at a place called kilometer 104, you can hike year round although the months of April till December when the weather is dry and hot. This is a special trek program just for you we don't add any people, is arranged just for you and offers the possibility to choose the departure date and the group size. Grade of difficulty: easy Minnimun group: 02 pax
ITINERARY
Day 1 : Cusco - Machupicchu
Early morning transfer from your hotel to the train station by trainfrom Cusco to kilometre 104 (start of the trek). Cross the Vilcabamba River and trek to Wiñay Wayna. We have the lunch here, visit the ruins and continue to Machu Picchu, arriving at approximately 3 pm. We take the bus from Machu picchu to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night.
Day 2 : Machupicchu - Cusco
Return by bus to Machu Picchu. (arriving at about 7am). Guided tour of the Inca Citadel (2 hours). Free time to explore Machu Picchu or climb up the Wayna Picchu mountain. Return by bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch, and take the train back to Cusco.
