I would like to tour Peru this summer. I have been going back and forth trying to pick the right tour for me.
I was really interested in doing one of the tours available from this website, http://www.karikuy.org, (has anyone been on one of these? please share your experience with me if you have).
I am particularly interested in the hike to machu picchu, but am concerned about the physicalities of it (hey, I'm a city girl after all!)
I came across a tour for the city of Cusco, but I haven't heard much about travelling there, so I thought this would be a great place to start!
Any attractions (food/drink/entertainment) recommendations you have if you have travelled there?
What I would really like to find is someone who has travelled to both Machu Picchu and Cusco who could give me maybe a comparison? It would be greatly appreciated :-)
