Hi April! first of all are you doing the Inca trek?

I was 2 weeks in Peru last September and it was warm during the day - t shirts and shorts usually ( sunscreen - it is a very intense sun-Arequipa and Nasca) but at night you need a fleece as the temperature really drops when the sun goes down.

If you are doing the trek you will be needing gloves, woolly hat and warm socks for bed were useful,
Bring a rain proof coat - MP was very damp and misty on our day there unfortunately.

It was very cheap to get laundry done - except in the most expensive hotels but every where else I got a few things washed overnight for a couple of pounds.

Hope I was any help!

Hi everyone,

Were going on a two week visit next month to all the usual suspects in Peru > Arequipa, Nazca Lines, MP and Cusco. We've been told to bring clothes for two weathers, winter and summer. WHAT A PAIN! Can anyone be more specific about exactly what sort of weather we'll get in Cusco especially?? And what sort of winter/summer clothes to bring?? Do we need winter and summer pjs????

thanks!
