The Alianza Francesa of Cusco is an independent and autonomous nonprofit cultural association which is ruled by its statutes. It was found in 1948 by a circle of cusquenian people, admirers of the French culture. The association tries to strengthen bonds between Peru and France by means of the teaching of the French and the organization of cultural activities such as: theater, movies, poetry, music, dance, etc. It also offers summer courses for 3 to 11-year old children on January and Frebuary.
