It was built by order of Viceroy Francisco de Toledo in 1572, had restored after the earthquake of 1650. His plant has a Latin cross, has three naves and a high square tower. There inside the convent a monumental canvas measuring 12 x 9 meters, on the genealogy of the Franciscan family, by Juan Espinoza de los Monteros.
