Road Network

The Red Vial of the department of Cusco is made up of more than 5,000km of roads, from which about 700km are all made with asphalt. The rest in the majority are ready to have the asphalt, these are considered penetration roads to the rural areas. For the quantity of transportation that travels through these roads they could be divided in two groups, asphalt roads and non-asphalt roads. Although paths don’t belong to the Red Vial, they deserve an especial attention. Travel Cusco, Information Peru.
