ITINERARY

Day 1 : First Day: City Tour

tours-arequipa001Transfer from the airport or Bus station to the hotel. P.m. City Tour, visit Santa Catalina Convent Monastery jealously closed to the world from 1.580 to 1.970, the Cathedral is a beautiful Church built in 1 656 with 70 columns and a Belgian device, one of the greatest of South America, Company de Jesus Church(San Ignacio Dome). From this point you will have a nice overview to Yanahuara, Chilliona Valley and San Lazarus place.

Day 2 :Second Day: Colca

08:00 Leave Arequipa towards nor west direction, Yura, small valley with thermal springs, behind Chachani snowy mountain we'll have the opportunity to see wild vicuñas in Pampa Cañahuas, Alpacas & llamas in Tocra, some birds like flamingoes, ibis, Andean gooses, ducks, Andean eagle "Kara Kara". View of volcanoes in Patapampa (4,800 m. - 15,000ft.). See the Ampato, Sabancaya, Walca Walca and Chivay, the capital of the valley. In the afternoon visit to the hot springs and pools in La Calera, you can enjoy dinner with a typical folkloric show (Not Included). Overnight at Colca Lodge or similar. (L, D)

Breakfast. Early morning after breakfast leave for a full day excursion in the left shore, beautiful typical towns, like Yanque and Maca, colonial churches, gently people with typical needlework dresses, hundreds of pre Inca terraces still in use with Andean growing like corn, quinoa, kiwicha (amaranth), etc. Lookout of the cross of the condor: see the deep of the canyon and the flight of the condor. Stone scale models, some pre Inca graves. P.M. free. Overnight at Colca Lodge or similar (B, L, D)

Day 4 : Fourth Day: Arequipa

Breakfast. Return to Arequipa (arriving at 18:00 hrs approx). Transfer to your hotel or airport.
