Description:

The Inka Cloud Forest program allows you to explore the Cloud Forest and the jungle of the Manu Reserve on motorcycle!

You will enjoy an incredible trip around the ancient city of Cusco by motorcycle and visit all the main tourist attractions, such as Sacsayhuaman and Tambomachay. You will feel the enigmatic winds of the Andes in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, while visiting impressive Incan archaeological sites, such as Pisac and Ollantaytambo.

From the Sacred Valley, you will ride off-road through the Cloud Forest and the small jungle town of Pillcopata. To arrive to the lodge in the jungle, we will take a 30-minute boat ride up-stream on the Pillcopata River. You will have the opportunity to explore the jungle through activities such as: canopy (zipcord gliding 30 meters above the ground, through the jungle), rafting, or hiking and observing the wild life.

And of course we won't forget to visit the mystical Inca sanctuary of Machu Picchu.

ITINERARY

Day 1: City Tour 40Km / 25 Miles

  • In the afternoon, motorcycles will be delivered.
  • You will visit nearby ruins around Cusco on your motorcycle.

Day 2: Sacred Valley 210Km / 131 Miles

  • Visit to Moray (agricultural, experimental terraces)
  • Visit to the impressive salt mines of Maras

  • Visit to Pisac (an archeological center and market)

Day 3: Sacred Valley / Cloud Forest 130.

  • Trip to the Cloud Forest Snack
  • We will ride up to the summit of Chahuaytiri ( 4000 M.S.N.M 13000 FEET), pass through the town of Paucartambo, and ascend to the summit of Ajanacu.
  • Our final descent will be through the Cloud Forest 1800 M.S.N.M. 5904 FEET

Day 4: Cloud Forest/ Pillcopata / Rainfo

  • Early in the morning, we will have the chance to hike around the area and see the Peruvian national bird, the Gallito de las Rocas

  • We will descend to the towns of Patria Pillcopata and arrive to the next lodge Villa Carmen.
  • Lunch at the lodge (Included)
  • In the affternoon, we will have the following options: horseback riding, or hiking and observing the wild life.

Day 5: Rainforest / Pillcopata / Sintu

  • Crossing the Carbon River, we will arrive to the town of Sintuya, where we will leave the motorcycles and take a boat to navigate the Pillcopata River for 40 minutes to arrive to the Erika Lodge in the rain forest.
  • Lunch at the lodge (Included)
  • In the affternoon, we will have the following options: canopy (zipcord gliding above the trees), rafting, or hiking and observing the wild life.
  • Dinner at the lodge (Included)

Day 6: Return To Cusco 290Km / 181 Mile

  • Take the boat back to Sintuya to take our motorcycles back to Cusco
