This beautiful town is located 44 miles through Pisaq and at 37.4 miles through Chinchero, it has an altitude of 9420 feet above sea level.
The beautiful providence of Urubamba is located in the Herat of the Sacred Valley. It has the healthiest weather, in the rainy season, the production of fruits is very vast, and the conditions of its climate are so desirable that in the XVII century the naturalist Antonio de Leon said that it was a paradise from bible times.
