Lake Titicaca is a natural paradise with unique features, the highest navigable lake in the world at 3827 meters and that people living in this region retain their ancestral traditions reflecting to the visitors an exotic place, unique and authentic with the kindness that  characterized.

Within its area has 36 islands, Uros and Taquile being the largest within the Peruvian territory.

One of the main attractions of the lake is the culture and the nature of the floating islands of Uros, 20 minutes by boat from the city of Puno.

This island was built of an form artificial cattails, plant and long thin leaves that grow in the lake, likewise, its inhabitants built their homes from the same material and their boats, called “Cattail Horses“.

For its part, Taquile Island, 35 km from the city of Puno, is where you can experience the history and living culture of Quechua and Aymara ancestry. Travellers arriving from Puno traverses exquisite stone arches before entering the heart of Taquile.

This is famous because you can see Inca ruins and its people, very hospitable and happy people are those who organize tours and special tours for tourists.
