Yesterday 1402 tourists were evacuated from Machu Picchu Pueblo, so far are 2480 in total. The 92 flights were recorded throughout the day, being only the poor visibility at night the only impediment to continue this work.
Peru Rail transfer from free to 1150 tourists to Cusco Ollantaymtabo time undertook to restore access to Machu Picchu in a short period.
The armed forces control the Machu Picchu Pueblo station ensuring the evacuation order and also offering car trains for the overnight if tourists need it.
