Indicó que este incremento compensa, en parte, la menor afluencia de turistas a través del primer aeropuerto Jorge Chávez, que registra una caída de 3%. En ese sentido, el ministro manifestó que este año se registrará la llegada de más de dos millones, 200 mil turistas aproximadamente, Refirió que el turismo ha retrocedido hasta 10% en algunos países del mundo y en promedio la caída a nivel global ha sido de 4%.
