Los integrantes del grupo australiano The Ten Tenors afirmaron estar planeando visitar la ciudadela de Machu Picchu luego de su presentación en Lima programada para el próximo mes.

El renombrado grupo australiano planea regresar al Perú para una presentación especial en el Jockey club del Perú el Sábado 11 de Septiembre.

The Ten Tenors quienes se presentaron en el Perú por primera vez en Setiembre del 2009, son también conocidos por interesarse y aprender más acerca de la historia musical del país, costumbres y cocina, en especial los platos hechos a base de pescado, tan famosos en el Perú.

Full rail service was postponed; Peru Rail says that train service to the famed Machu Picchu ruins will be fully restored July 1.

The popular 68-mile rail line from Cuzco is the only land route to the Incan citadel. As we all know, the line was damaged by heavy rains in January that left hundreds of tourists stranded.

Partial rail service was restored in March, though most of the trip from Cuzco had to be done by bus.

The Incan ruins are Peru’s main tourist destination, with 1,500 to 2,000 tourists visiting daily.

We hope the restoration works to be completed as soon as possible so we can enjoy one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in the world.
