El alcalde provincial Mario Condori Huallpa, señaló que la evocación a la Virgen del Carmen comprende un recorrido la vía Pisaq – San Salvador – Colquepata – Paucartambo, ubicada en la parte centro oriental de Cusco.

Se impulsará la visita iniciando el recorrido por 11 kilómetros por el parque arqueológico de Pisaq, el templo colonial de Colquepata, que guarda peculiares y bellas pinturas de los siglos XVIII y XIX similares a la de Andahuaylillas, acceso al Kcujlla.

El recorrido continuará por el parque de Ninamarca, en Colquepata, donde se hallan 17 chullpas con contextos funerarios preincaicos.

Luego continuará por Huatocto, en Paucartambo, que guarda andenes, un reloj solar, una puerta del sol y hasta una chincana o túnel inca. El visitante al llegar a esta provincia gozará de las fiestas católicas más importantes de Cusco al ver la procesión a la virgen en medio de comparsas y danzas típicas.

El visitante podrá concluir el circuito al visitar el mirador de Tres Cruces a solo unas horas de Paucartambo de donde se divisa el salto del sol al amanecer.

Por su parte, Roberto Villasante Rojas, jefe de la oficina de Promoción y Desarrollo de la municipalidad de Paucartambo, explicó que se ha coordinado con la Dirección Regional de Comercio Exterior y Turismo (Dircetur) y el Instituto Nacional de Cultura (INC) en la preservación y promoción de este corredor turístico.

“Será una experiencia maravillosa, pues no solo gozarán de los parque arqueológicos, sino también de sitios ecoturísticos en el distrito de Challabamba considerado como zona frutícola, sitios donde las aves como los Gallitos de las Rocas, osos de anteojos aún no han desaparecido”, dijo el funcionario.

La empresa Ferrocarril Transandino S. A. ha confirmado que la vía férrea desde Cusco (Km 0) hasta Machu Picchu (Km 110) estará rehabilitada para la operación ferroviaria desde el 25 de junio 2010.

Debido a que las pruebas operativas continuarán hasta fines de Junio, PeruRail ha definido como fecha de inicio de sus operaciones el 01 de Julio de 2010, pero habrán restricciones de velocidad que posiblemente afecten los tiempos de recorrido de los diferentes servicios.

La empresa Telefónica aseguró que podrán realizarse llamadas locales y nacionales.

Telefónica abrirá las líneas de los más de 350 teléfonos públicos de exteriores ubicados en las regiones Cusco y Apurímac, que serán puestos a disposición de la población para que puedan gestionar ayuda y comunicarse con sus seres queridos en estos momentos difíciles.
