The Municipality of Cusco organized through the Management of Tourism, Education, Culture and the Environment the Theater Festival cusqueño called: “Kusi tinkuy 2011.”

Also, the participation of the artistic casts will take place in three categories: educational institutions, both amateur and professional
In the first category, in educational institutions, participate actors and theatrical casts of the educational centers of the secondary level, as well as the institutes of higher education public and private.
Finally, it is important to point out that all the groups and artists that apply to be registered at the Theater Festival will be subject to the qualification and evaluation of the organizers.
In the category of amateurs will participate, the actors and casts in theater that engage in theater in an amateur sport or amateur. While in the professional category will participate, the actors and casts that demonstrate their activity at a professional level.

En los últimos años, más de diez estrellas de Hollywood visitaron la ciudadela de Machupicchu, Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad y maravilla del mundo, donde se celebrará este 7 de julio el centenario de su descubrimiento científico.

El actor canadiense Jim Carrey, protagonista de películas como La máscara, fue uno de los últimos que visito la ciudad Inca. Este mostró satisfacción ante la majestuosidad de Machu Picchu.

Antes que él llegaron artistas como Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon, Ron Howard, Lucy Liu, Adrien Brody, Cameron Díaz, Olivia Newton John, Leonardo Di Caprio, entre otros. Todos estos artistas estuvieron satisfechos con su visita.

In recent years, more than ten Hollywood stars visited the citadel of Machu Picchu, a World Heritage Site and wonder of the world, which will be held this July 7th centenary of his scientific discovery.

Canadian actor Jim Carrey, star of movies like The Mask, was one of the last visiting the Inca city. This showed satisfaction with the majesty of Machu Picchu.

Los tejados y fachadas del centro del distrito de Machu Picchu serán pintadas de color rojo andino, como parte del embellecimiento por el centenario del hallazgo de la ciudadela incaica.

Los arreglos también comprenderán la reposición de dos puentes, el primero de cuatro metros de ancho por 120 de largo, el cual beneficiará a la zona de Collpani.

El segundo es el puente Pantigoso, sobre el río Aguas Calientes, que sirve para el paso de los ciudadanos y turistas, cuya estructura data de hace 40 años. Este será cambiado por una infraestructura Bailey.

La inversión para estas obras de embellecimiento suma un millón de nuevos soles que se otorgó el Gobierno Central por medio del Ministerio de Vivienda.

Las voceras de PromPerú dijeron que el proyecto intentará  fomentar la exportación, el turismo y el posicionamiento del Perú en el Exterior.

La primera presentación de la Marca se realizó en Lima el 10 de Marzo y, a partir de ahí, PromPerú inició una gira a nivel nacional empezando con Trujillo, el 25 de marzo, seguido por la ciudad de Iquitos el 28 y Huaraz el 31 de ese mismo mes. En abril continuó la presentación en Ica el primero del mes; la ciudad de Arequipa los recibió el 4, siguiendo Tacna el 6 de abril y Puno el 7 del mismo mes. En la ciudad de Piura la presentación se llevó a cabo el 12 de abril, en Chiclayo el 13, el 14 siguió Ayacucho y la ciudad de Huancayo el 15 de abril. La presentación en Cajamarca fue el 18 de abril, seguida de Tumbes el 20 y Cusco el 26 de abril.

El punto final de la gira fue Lima el 3 de mayo y se llevó a cabo en el auditorio del local de PromPerú en la Av. Basadre.

El responsable de la organización de los festejos, Ricardo Vega Llona informó que las celebraciones por los 100 años de Machu Picchu serán vistas en todo el planeta.

El canal 7 pondrá a disposición la señal a todos los canales del Perú y del mundo y así conseguir que esto se difunda lo mayor posible.La celebración tambien estará a disposición de todos por Internet.

“Queremos que todas las nacionalidades puedan ver el programa porque lo que más nos interesa es que Machu Picchu sea más conocido, ya que es una de las maravillas del mundo que menos visitantes ha recibido en su historia”

The artist was in Cusco for several days with his wife and two children. They  said they had enjoyed their stay in Cusco and satisfied  returning to his home town.

“When you think you already saw everything in life, you get there,you find Machu Picchu and do not understand anything, “ said Argentine actor excited.
