Peru is really proud when it was announced the nomination of the film “The Milk of Sorrow”, to the Oscars.
The director Claudia Llosa, and the young actress Magaly Solier, star of the movie, enter the contesto to dispute the award against international films as A Prophet from France, The White Ribbon from Germany, Ajami from Israel and The Secret of Her Eyes from Argentina .
The Milk of Sorrow enters the competition with a bit of an advantage, last year the movie won the biggest award of the Berlin’s Festival, “The Golden Bear”.
All Peruvians, on March 7, we will be waiting for the great triumph of our film “The Milk of Sorrow” which will be held at the legendary Kodak Theater in Los Angeles.
El Perú entero celebro cuando ayer se anuncio la nominación de la película ‘La teta asustada’, o en su versión en inglés “The Milk of Sorrow”, a los premios Oscar de este año.
